Health & Safety

Your child’s safety is our first priority. We have a coded entry and a secure playground to ensure a safe environment at all times.

All Discoveryland staff have passed a thorough state and federal background check.

All staff are certified in CPR/First Aid and we all have a current food handler’s card. Each staff participates in a thorough orientation including a variety of trainings.

 

Beyond the initial training, each staff completes at least 24 hours of continuing education annually. Doing so allows us to stay current with the most recent developmentally appropriate practices.

Discoveryland bathrooms and classrooms are thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis. Laundry is also done on a daily basis.
We have specified a illness policy that we ask parents to follow which is in our parent handbook.
